About Us
Franklinton Rams Youth Football and Cheer is a 501c3 non-profit run by volunteers, the program is funded through registration fees and the generous donations from local individuals and businesses.
We are community driven, socioeconomic need-based athletic program established in 2021 to provide positive mentorship and health conscious outlets for youth in our community and surrounding areas. Our program currently offers:
7 on 7 (2 HAND TOUCH FOOTBALL)(SPRING)
CHEERLEADING
TACKLE FOOTBALL (FALL)
6U FLAG FOOTBALL (FALL)
FRANKLINTON RAMS IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH THE EAST WAKE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, WHICH IS A COMPETITIVE TACKLE FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
The EWFL is collection of many towns and communities that surround the greater Triangle area in central
NC. This aspect brings football back to its roots where smaller communities with limited populations formed teams and played each other. Each organization will host (4) home games and travel (4) away games each season.
WE WANNA GIVE OUR KIDS THE EXPERIENCE AND THE SKILLS FOR YEARS TO COME. OUR COACHES STRIVE TO PROVIDE THE HIGH LEVEL SKILLED INSTRUCTION GIVING YOUR ATHLETE THE SKILLS TO SUCCEED. WE TEACH THE SHOULDER TACKLING USING THE “ HEADS UP” TECHNIQUE OUTLINED BY USA FOOTBALL.
Program Cost Explanation
An independent youth sports program has a number of cost that is shared among the participants. The Franklinton Rams Youth Football & Cheer is pleased with the early sponsorship and donor response to assist with initial capital purchases in the program such that these cost are not passed on to each family. However, the year to year operational costs were designed to balance with registration. A projected cost breakdown is presented in the graph.
Similar to many independent sports programs, the ongoing efforts will require support from friends, families, businesses and organizations, We encourage all participants in the program to help us fulfill the goals with sponsorship and donations.

SPONSORSHIP AND DONATIONS
Franklinton Rams Youth Football and Cheer is an 501c non-profit , we are a volunteer based program. Donations and Sponsorships will be used to help kids play sports and provide them with the necessary equipment and other supplies to allow the kids to play. This will take the burden off parents, lifting their spirits knowing that their child can play sports. We know businesses take pride in their support of non-profit organizations and programs for the kids in their local community. Your contribution will help us reach our goal to provide every child an opportunity to learn and play FOOTBALL and the love for CHEERLEADING.
